Himalaya View Treks Picnic – A Memorable Day Hiking Experience to Surya Chaur

The Himalayas have always remained a paradise for adventure lovers and nature enthusiasts. Surrounded by towering peaks and breathtaking landscapes, the Himalaya View Treks team enjoyed a refreshing day hiking picnic to Surya Chaur, a beautiful hilltop near Kathmandu. This special outing brought together trekking guides, porters, Sherpas, staff members, friends, and family. Together, we celebrated the successful completion of our trekking and climbing season.
Day Hike from Shanti Dham to Surya Chaur – Himalaya View Treks Picnic Day
We began our journey from Shanti Dham, Kavresthali, where all team members gathered with excitement and positive energy. The group included male and female trekking guides, experienced Sherpas, hardworking porters, office staff, and family members of the Himalaya View Treks team.
Everyone prepared carefully with backpacks filled with food, water, and essential supplies. As a result, the atmosphere quickly filled with joy, laughter, and anticipation for the hike ahead.
We then started the trek from Shanti Dham to Surya Chaur, which took approximately two hours. Along the way, we passed through lush green forests, peaceful villages, and open hillsides that offered stunning natural scenery.
Meanwhile, our experienced guides actively shared knowledge about local flora, fauna, and the Himalayan environment. Consequently, the journey became both educational and enjoyable. In addition, teamwork and friendship grew stronger with every step.
Arrival at Surya Chaur – Himalayan Views and Celebration
Upon reaching Surya Chaur, the team immediately enjoyed breathtaking panoramic views of surrounding hills and distant Himalayan ranges. Moreover, the peaceful environment and fresh mountain air created the perfect setting for relaxation and celebration.
A professional catering team warmly welcomed us at the site and prepared a delicious meal. Shortly after arrival, we enjoyed a well-organized outdoor picnic experience.
We laughed, shared conversations, and enjoyed every moment together. Furthermore, the natural beauty of Surya Chaur made the experience even more memorable.
Celebration of a Successful Trekking Season
This picnic served not only as a recreational event but also as a celebration of the successful trekking and climbing season of Himalaya View Treks.
Our company owner expressed sincere gratitude to all guides, porters, Sherpas, and staff members. He appreciated everyone’s dedication, hard work, and commitment throughout the season.
We then shared stories from different trekking expeditions. We reflected on challenges faced in the mountains as well as achievements earned through teamwork and perseverance.
As a result, the entire team felt a strong sense of pride, unity, and motivation for future adventures.
Food, Culture, and Team Bonding
No picnic feels complete without delicious food, and this event offered a rich selection of local and traditional dishes. The catering team served fresh meals, and everyone enjoyed eating together.
In addition, team members shared food with one another, which strengthened unity and cultural harmony. At the same time, traditional Nepali folk music added rhythm and energy to the atmosphere.
Some team members performed cultural songs and dances, proudly showcasing Nepal’s rich heritage. Consequently, the environment became lively, joyful, and full of positive energy.
Beautiful Moments at Surya Chaur
As the day progressed, we took time to relax, capture photos, and fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Surya Chaur. The hilltop location offered stunning views of green valleys, rolling hills, and distant Himalayan peaks.
