Nar Phu Trek

Narphu valley is located north of Annapurna in Manang district. This hidden valley is famous for Tibetan Buddhist culture and beautiful natural scenery. The Narphu valley is totally isolated valley which remains untouched by the outer modern world. The inhabitants of this valley are Tibetan Buddhist people who have preserved their age old practices. Most of them are engaged in yak herding and farming in their own way. Unique Tibetan culture, traditions, way of life and festivals can be seen perfectly in Narphu valley. Those who are interested in Tibetan Buddhist people’s way of life, culture and traditions this trek is best for them. 

Moreover, Narphu valley trek gives full pleasure to the nature lovers by its attractive natural gadgets. During Narphu valley trek you will see and experiences the high peaks and passes, glaciers, remote villages, narrow canyons, lovely forests, amazing rock formations, yaks, Gompas and unique Himalayan cultures. In this trek you will cross two challenging Mesokundo and Kangla passes. This trek offer stunning glimpse of beautiful mountains of Annapurna region such as Annapurna massif, Lamjung Himal, Machhapuchhre Himal, Manaslu Himal, Dhaulagiri range and Tilicho peak. The most important aspect of this trek is that you can combine Narphu valley trek with Annapurna circuit trek. From Besisahar you will follow the Annapurna circuit up to Koto. From Koto you will reach to Narphu valley after completing the adventurous journey of beautiful places such as Chhacha, Meta and Junum. After making excursion in mysterious Narphu valley you will return to Koto through Nar village and Dharmasala. From Koto you will again follow Annapurna circuit and reach to Jomsom via Thorang Phedi and Muktinath. 

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in international airport in Kathmandu and meet our official staff then transport to Hotel Moon Light at Thamel, which is only catered for the tourists.
Day 02: Make Nar Phu Restricted area special trekking permit and briefing of Trek.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Besishahar-BulBule-Chamje -Dharapani(1920meters, 9/10 hours ) stay overnight at tea house.
Day 04: Trek from Dharapani to Koto via Bagarchhap-Dhanadue-Timang (Koto 2600meters, 5 hours walking) stay overnight at tea house.
Day 05: Trek from Koto to Meta (3230meters, 7-8 hours walking) stay overnight at tea house.
Day 06: Trek from Meta to Phu Village (4050meters, 7-8 hours walking) stay overnight at tea house.
Day 07: Excursion around Phu Village and Monastery stay at same Hotel.
Day 08: Trek from Phu Village to Nar Phedi (3820m, 5-6 hours walking) stay overnight at tea house.
Day 09: Trek from Nar Phedi to Nar Village (4150meters, 2-3 hours walking) stay overnight at tea house.
Day 10: VIist 4 Monasteries in Nar Village and stay same hotel.
Day 11: Trek from Nar - Kang La Pass -Ngawal (3675meters, 8-9 hours) stay overnight at tea house.
Day 12: Trek from Ngawal to Manang (3550meters, 4 hours walking) stay overnight at tea house.
Day 13: Trek from Manang to Chame (2650meters, 7 hours walking) stay overnight at tea house.
Day 14: Trek from Chame to Chamje (1310meters, 7 hours walking) stay overnight at tea house.
Day 15: Chamje to Kathmandu 9/10 hours driving by Jeep and stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 16: Departure Day in your home country. We provide you transport to international tribhuwan airport,
