The journey of the 5 days Mohare Danda Trek starts with a bus drive to Galeshwor.
Trekkers have to cross the suspension bridge over Kaligandaki River to reach the first camp in trekking at Banskharka. The following day’s trek has made this package famous as Mohare Danda Eco Lodge Community Trek as well. Numerous villages of Poon Magar community are located on the trail. Therefore, trekkers can witness the rich culture and traditions of this hilly tribe during their journey. These villages annually send numerous young people to get the job in British Gurkha Army as well. The most scenic and famous features of Mohare Danda and Poon Hill are multiethnic villages, rhododendron and oak trees, mountain vistas etc.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Drive to Galeshwo and trek to Banskharka
Meet your guide and drive to Galeshwor by public bus or private car (3.5 hours) and trek to Banskharka (3 hours) stay Overnight at lodge.
Day 02: Trek to Nangi
Trek to Nangi (6/7 hours) stay Overnight at lodge.
Day 03: Trek to Mohare Danda
Trek to Mohare Danda (7 hours); Best Sunrise and Sunset View Point overlooking Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Tukuche etc.
Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani
Trek to Ghorepani ( 5 hours 1935 m ) stay overnight at lodge,
Day 05: Trek to Hile and drive back to Pokhara
Trek to Hile (4 hours walking) after early morning sunrise view from Poon Hill (3210 m) and then drive back to Pokhara by local bus (2 hour driving) or by taxi, stay overnight at your own hotel in Pokhara.

Mohare Danda Trek itinerary allows you to enjoy the trip on your own pace. All the accommodation and food are decided exclusively on the basis of your preferences. After pandemic we needed to change the travel operating style. Therefore, the Mohare Danda Trek don't allow other group joining trekkers. You will get the exclusive alternative route to Annapurna Base Camp by following this itinerary.

Can I change to regular Trek in the mid way of my Trekking without taking the Mohare danda route?
Usually, you can't change the plan midway. However, the guide will assess the situation and decide according to your wish. But remember that the price will not be changed.

Do i need to take travel insurance for Mohare Danda trek too?
Yes, It is mandatory for the trekking in Nepal especially the high altitude trekking like Annapurna Base Camp Trek.

Sorbit and Ram were very accommodating and made sure we had fun even on the days of the walk we found a bit more challenging.
