Manaslu Expeditions Cost and Itinerary 2025

8163 m Manaslu Climbing expeditions Itinerary and cost catered for 2025/2026. Mount Manaslu is the jewel of the Nepalese mountains. Standing proudly as the world’s 8th tallest mountain, the mountain offers splendid climbing adventure. Among 14 mountains of the 8000-meter clubs, this Mansiri Himalayan range mountain is serene and beautiful. However, lots of westerners are still unknown of this lofty peak. Manaslu Climbing Expedition in Nepal is an excellent way of starting your journey towards scaling Mt. Everest (8848.86 m). It makes it easier for climbers to climb Everest after Manaslu.
Climbing a mountain is not an ordinary feat. It is the epitome of all wilderness adventure activities. Moreover, stepping steps on the top of 8163 m Tall Mountain undoubtedly adds supreme gloss to your travel tales. Though scaling mountains is a legendary and rewarding activity, climbers needn’t underestimate the challenge lying ahead.

Route Overview of Manaslu Climbing Expedition

Trek up to the base camp of Manaslu is similar to our Manaslu Circuit Trek itinerary. However, we will be taking the harder reverse route. The main reason behind reverse trekking is to prepare ourselves for challenging climbing. Moreover, the arduous way of trekking can help in getting adjusted to the altitude as well.

Climbers start to trek from Dharapani after the road trip starting from Kathmandu via Besisahar. After walking for two days the climbers reach the Bimthang via Tilje.

Acclimatization rest is necessary in this place before crossing the Larke La Pass. Additionally, climbers will visit the village of Samdo and Samagaon before reaching the base camp. Up until Samagaon, the accommodation is in teahouses. However, base camp and climbing route accommodations are in tented camps.

Mountain Climbing

Normally, Manaslu Climbing Expedition takes place in the North East face. There are four camps for the ascent of the mountain. Before embarking on the intrepid journey of scaling a mountain, acclimatization is of utmost necessity. The route is a moderately angled snowy slope on the lower section. However, the slope above Camp I is short and steep. The climbers follow the fixed rope lines via ice bulges up to Camp IV. The site is on a flat surface or Col.
After ascending through snow slopes and a series of plateaus, climbers reach the summit. Our veteran team of Sherpa will ensure safety. With over 2 decades of experience in the field of Nepalese mountaineering and trekking, we ensure a high success rate. However, it is the mountain we are challenging. Depending upon lots of factors, the team of highly qualified Sherpa will decide on the climbing matters.

EBC Trek: April 2026 In April 2026, we did the 11 day Everest Base Camp trek with Himalaya View Treks. We were a group of two with Ram as our guide and Santos as porter - a pair of absolute legends! From the first email enquiry, Simbir of Himalaya View Treks was responsive and helpful and we couldn't have had a better trip. If you're going around in circles trying to decide who to book your EBC trek with (like I was), look no further. We're already thinking about our next trip and when we're back in Nepal, we wouldn't hesitate to go with the same team.

Everest base camp with island peak I completed the Everest Base Camp trek and Island Peak climb with my dad, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything went incredibly smoothly thanks to the excellent planning and organisation from Simbar. Our guide Sobit and porter Jhalak were outstanding both extremely welcoming, supportive and professional throughout the trip. We genuinely felt they made the whole experience what it was and without them we honestly wouldn’t have made it. I would highly recommend both the company and especially our guide and porter to anyone considering this adventure.

Annapurna Circuit Trek 2026 My wife and I went trekking on the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal from April 2–15, 2026. We used the services of Himalaya View Treks, and our guide was Jiban. During our trek, we encountered unexpected heavy snowfall, which made the journey much more challenging. However, Jiban constantly monitored the weather and assessed risks to adjust our plan, prioritizing our safety at all times. Thanks to his expertise, we successfully and safely crossed the Thorong La Pass. Throughout the trip, he took excellent care of us and provided honest, straightforward advice. If you are planning a trek in Nepal, I highly recommend consulting with the team at Himalaya View Treks. I hope you have as wonderful an experience as we did.

We had an amazing experience! We would really recommend Himalaya View Treks! We did the EBC trek. From the moment we booked, we had excellent communication with Simbir, who provided us with all the information we needed. He always replied quickly. Unfortunately, we had to postpone the trek by a few weeks due to the war in the Middle East, but this was no problem at all. The trek was rescheduled without any issues. We had Suraj as our guide for the trek and were very happy with him. During the hike, Suraj arranged everything for us and made sure we could fully focus on the trek itself. He was constantly looking after our well-being and ensured we didn’t have to worry about anything. He also knew a lot about the area and the mountains. We can’t recommend him enough and would definitely want him as our guide again if we ever return to Nepal. On top of that, he’s really good at cards and chess. And he’s also good at taking pictures!

EBC Solo Trek (26 yo female) Just finished the EBC Trek and can’t say enough good things about Himalaya View Treks and my guide, Sujan. From the moment I booked the trip, the team was extremely responsive, communicative, and professional—I felt supported every step of the way before I even arrived in Nepal. A huge shoutout to my guide, Sujan—I absolutely loved him. He made the entire experience. He handled everything on the trek seamlessly, from meals to accommodations, so I could fully focus on the journey. He was attentive, organized, and genuinely cared about making sure I was safe, comfortable, and enjoying the experience. Completing the trek in 8 days was a huge accomplishment, and I truly credit Sujan and the team for making that possible while still ensuring everything was done safely and efficiently. Overall, the company is extremely well-managed, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering the Everest Base Camp trek—couldn’t have asked for a better team.

Excellent I just completed the 10-day Annapurna Base Camp trek with Anil as my guide, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation I had going in. From day one, Anil's professionalism set the tone for the entire trip. He was always well-prepared, punctual, and clearly prioritised our safety at every stage of the trek — whether it was pacing us correctly for acclimatisation, making smart calls on the trail, or ensuring we were well-rested before the harder days. You could tell this wasn't just a job for him; he genuinely cared about getting us to base camp and back safely. What really impressed me was how calm and composed he remained throughout. That kind of quiet confidence is exactly what you want when you're days into a mountain trek and pushing your limits. I never once felt uncertain about the route or our wellbeing. The trek itself — the rhododendron forests, the mountain villages, the jaw-dropping views of Machapuchare and the Annapurna massif — was breathtaking. But having Anil alongside made it a truly special experience rather than just a physical challenge. If you're considering the ABC trek, book with Anil without hesitation. You're in safe, capable hands.

We did the langtang valley trek with this agency. It was an amazing experience. We just showed up to their office and were taken care of right away. Our guide Suraj was AMAZING. I can’t recommend him enough. He made sure that we were comfortable at all moments of the trek, and he gave us so many informations on the region and answered every questions we had. When I come back to Nepal, i will ask for him again for sure.

My EBC trek was an amazing experience! Everything was very well organized, and my female guide Samikshya took great care of me throughout the journey. Even when things didn’t go exactly as planned, she handled every situation very professionally and with a positive attitude. I always felt safe and supported. The company leader Simbir Ghale was always available and found a solution for everything. I highly recommend trekking with her and with the company — a truly great experience!
