Climb Island Peak From Chhukung in 2 Days With HVT Guide
Himalaya View Treks is a travel company organizing to climb Island Peak from Chhukung. if you are on the way to the Everest region trekking and want to join Island Peak then we do arrange Climb Island Peak in 2 Days From Chhukung. On top of the Chukung glacier, between Ama Dablam and the Lhotse Mountains, Island Peak is one of the most sought-after trekking destinations due to its challenging geographical conditions. Over 300 groups climb the Island peak every year. An Island Peak Summit [6160m] (Imja Tse) can be climbed as part of this trek along with an exciting trek to Everest Base Camp. To reach the narrow summit ridge, You must climb a mixed rock and ice wall at a slope of around 45 degrees. The best seasons are the Autumn and Spring Months of March, April or May, and Sep, October to Nov.
You will certainly be rewarded for your efforts, however, with stunning views from the summit. From Lukla you can trek up the Dudh Kosi valley, passing through Namche and Tengboche on the way to Kala Pattar and Everest Base Camp. Following rest and acclimatization, you then head up the beautiful Imja Khola Valley towards Island Peak. In addition to your trekking adventure, you will also see beautiful Sherpa villages and ever-so-serene monasteries. After walking through Namche to Lukla, and from there on flying back to Kathmandu, you reflect on your trek earlier. You can take this trip between March and May, as well as between September and December.

An acclimatized and physically fit person can climb Island Peak. HVT provides an adventurous and romantic Climb Island peak from Chukung to Chukung. We have created a program for island peak climbing by including general routes and requirements. Climbing an island peak is possible to add an EBC trek too. Therefore, we can modify our itinerary if you want a long trek in the Everest region. Trekking to Everest conducts mountain climbing to Island Peak. It offers training, guides, good accommodation, quality meals, and a luxury camp during the campaigning.
We do arrange 2-day Island Peak climbing from Chhukung at a reasonable cost if you want to trek by yourself and want to join climb the Island peak. Climb Island Peak from Chhukung in 3 days in the spring season month of March / April or May and autumn season Sep / Oct / Nov with HVT Guide.

Island Peak Climbing from Chhukung
Island Peak is the most popular trekking peak. It takes lots of days to even reach the base camp. However, you can adopt the Everest Base Camp Itinerary as well. Moreover, the summit push starts from High Camp. There are many crevasses, few technical sections, and steep inclined snowy sections too. You will have to use basic climbing equipment and gear to reach the summit. It is arduous as it is a snow-capped mountain in Nepal.
The ridge line walking makes it harder to climb.
Trail Length
The distance between the base camp and Lukla is around 33.6 kilometers. It is the highest distance that you cover during the trek. However, it increases if you add Everest Base Camp to your trekking itinerary. There are many downhill, uphill, rugged trails and glacier walking. For any normal person, trekking that distance is not an easy activity. Long-distance trekking can become tiring but end result is rewarding.
Altitude Sickness
Altitude sickness is the biggest factor on this trip. The maximum height on this trip is 6160 m from sea level. Therefore, AMS can happen. The trip starts from Kathmandu which is at 1300 m. The change in altitude is the major cause of altitude sickness. Proper acclimatization is needed. Therefore, our itinerary focuses more on the client’s safety.
Weather & Climatic Conditions
Nepal’s mountain region has unpredictable weather and climatic conditions. Day temperature is normal but night hours are pretty freezing. Weather can change drastically in just an hour. Expect unexpected changes in climate and weather. However, the team will analyze the situation and only decide whether to push or not.
Climbing Preparation
The best way to prepare for climbing is by doing cardiovascular workouts. These kinds of cardio exercises help to increase lung capacity. In order to climb the mountain, you need strong and healthy lungs.
Do some strength-building training like planks, push-ups, and squats. Cycling is also the best option to prepare your body for climbing. Always start these activities 4-5 months before traveling to Nepal for climbing.

We had a wonderful experience, from the instant communication with owner Simbir to all of my emails, to the trek itself with our guide and porters Dal Bahadur Gurung, Anil Gurung, and Manoj. The crew was fantastic, with not only helping us carry our gear but also making us comfortable once we reached our nightly tea house. Can the trip be done cheaper, apparently so if you are willing to go through the work to secure permits, carry your own gear and are prepared to be turned away at full tea houses. However, if you’re new to trekking, or like us and want to do it with children who aren’t yet ready to carry heavy packs, I highly recommend Himalaya View Treks.

My husband and I did a shortened 7 day Annapurna Circuit starting in Kathmandu and finishing in Pokhara with Himalaya View Treks and we were very pleased with how it went. The tour was a reasonable price and everything ran like clockwork from the moment we were picked up from Kathmandu airport by our guide Suraj. Suraj sorted out all of our needs and made sure we were comfortable - he explained upcoming options for routes/accomm, he sorted our rooms (always aiming to get us ones with good views and private toilet where possible) and put our food orders in at the tea houses. Patrick Thumm2023-11-21Meine Frau und ich haben uns für eine „kurze“ Tour im Himalaya interessiert. Über das Internet sind wir auf Himalayan View Treks gestoßen. Sie haben die 8 Tage Annapurna Short Trek Tour angeboten. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld per Mail mit Simbir lief super. Er konnte uns vorab alle Informationen geben. Auch eine individuelle Anpassung der Tour (z. B. per Flugzeug zurück) wäre möglich gewesen. Obwohl wir zunächst ein paar Tage in Kathmandu verbracht haben, wurden wir bei Ankunft von unserem Guide abgeholt und zum Hotel gebracht. So sind wir entspannt angekommen. An Tag 1 der Tour wurden wir früh morgens vom Hotel von unserem Guide (D. B.) und unserem Porter (Manoj) abgeholt. Tag 2-7 sind wir von Chame über Pisang, Manang, Ledar, High Camp über den Thorong La Pass nach Muktinath gewandert. Insgesamt waren es ca. 80km, 4.100m nach oben und 3.100m nach unten zu wandern. Tag 8 ging dann per Jeep zurück nach Pokhara. Trotz der für unsere Verhältnisse langen Strecke ging die Tour super zu laufen. Das lag vor allem auch an unserem Guide und Porter! D. B. hat sich stets nach unserem Wohlbefinden erkundet. Jeden Abend gab es einen kurzen Tagesrückblick und Lagebesprechung für den kommenden Tag. So konnten wir währenddessen noch entscheiden, ob wir an einem Tag etwas weiter laufen, um am darauffolgenden Tag etwas weniger machen müssen. Er ging da sehr gut auf uns ein. Manoj hat unseren schweren Rucksack getragen und wir konnten uns so ganz aufs Trekking konzentrieren. Darüber waren wir sehr dankbar. Auch er hat sich immer um uns gekümmert (are you ok? 😉) D.B. hat uns über den gesamten Trek viel Wissen über das Land und die Berge vermittelt. Außerdem konnte er uns viele interessante Bergsteiger Geschichten erzählen. Wir hatten 8 unbeschreibliche Tage! Unsere anfänglich Angst und Sorge, es nicht zu schaffen wurde uns durch den professionellen Umgang komplett genommen. Vielen Dank dafür!

Himalaya View Treks couldn't of been more helpful from choosing and booking our trek before we arrived through to dropping us back to the airport once we had finished , nothing was too much trouble. Before coming to Nepal me and my dad was unsure if we needed a guide however we are now so pleased that we decided to get one.
