Chisopani Nagarkot Trek is the shortest and easiest trek around Kathmandu which offers a beautiful panoramic mountain view this trek is all around the year also possible even in monsoon and winter.
A short and easy Nagarkot Chisopani trek doesn’t require any kind of fitness or age. It means young kids, family, and old peoples doesn’t matter. During the Nagarkot trek, you can familiar with the culture of different ethnic people such as Tamang, Chhetri, and Brahmin. In this trek, while walking on the beautiful trail you will be rewarded with a stunning glimpse of the superb mountain views, beautiful landscapes, romantic views of Kathmandu valley, rivers, green hills, and typical Nepalese villages.

The starting point of the Nagarkot trek is Budhanilkantha temple which is the holy temple of Hindu people and the nearest trek in Kathmandu. From Budhanilkantha you will slowly ascend to Shivapuri hill through the forest trail of Shivapuri national park. On this journey, you may get a chance different kinds of animals and different species of birds.

Shivapuri hill offers superb views of several white-capped beautiful peaks during your Chisopani Nagarkot trekking. You will continue to Chisapani by following the watershed trail of Shivapuri national park. Chisapani is a culturally important place where you can know and experience the Tamang culture. From Chisapani through the beautiful hilly trail with beautiful natural scenery, you will reach Nagarkot. Nagarkot is naturally a very beautiful place that offers magnificent views of beautiful mountains such as the Annapurna Ranges, Manaslu mountain ranges, Ganesh Himal ranges, Langtang ranges, Dorje Lakpa, Melung-Tse, Gaurishanker, Furi Cha-Chui, Lhotse, Everest, and many more mountains panorama.

Moreover, in Nagarkot, you can see the romantic views of sunrise and sunset and a beautiful picture of Kathmandu valley. Nagarkot is a naturally rewarded place where you want to spend more time by involving in different natural activities. The natural beauty, calm environment, and suitable climate of Nagarkot always win the heart and eyes of visitors. Day 01: Drive by private car o Sundarijal and then trek to Chisopani for 5/6 hours stay overnight at Hotel Dorje Lakpa
Day 02: Trek to Nagarkot, 6/7 hours stay overnight at Hotel View Point
Day 03: Trek to Changunarayan and then drive back to Kathmandu by private car

Day 01: Short Drive to Sundarijal 1 hour, and Trek to Chisapani

Short Drive to Sundarijal 1 hour, and Trek to Chisapani (1915 mtr. 4/5 hours walking) overnight at Hotel Dorje Lakpa.

Day 02: Trek to Nagarkot

Take breakfast and Trek to Nagarkot (2195 mtr. 6/7 hours walking) stay overnight at Hotel View Point

Day 03: Trek to Changunarayan

Take breakfast and Trek to Changunarayan (3/4 hours walking) and drive back to Kathmandu by car

We were a group of two with Ram as our guide and Santos as porter - a pair of absolute legends!    Verified Everest base camp with island peak I completed the Everest Base Camp trek and Island Peak climb with my dad, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything went incredibly smoothly thanks to the excellent planning and organisation from Simbar. Our guide Sobit and porter Jhalak were outstanding both extremely welcoming, supportive and professional throughout the trip. We genuinely felt they made the whole experience what it was and without them we honestly wouldn’t have made it.    Verified Annapurna Circuit Trek 2026 My wife and I went trekking on the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal from April 2–15, 2026. We used the services of Himalaya View Treks, and our guide was Jiban. During our trek, we encountered unexpected heavy snowfall, which made the journey much more challenging. However, Jiban constantly monitored the weather and assessed risks to adjust our plan, prioritizing our safety at all times. Thanks to his expertise, we successfully and safely crossed the Thorong La Pass. Throughout the trip, he took excellent care of us and provided honest, straightforward advice.    Verified We had an amazing experience! We would really recommend Himalaya View Treks! We did the EBC trek. From the moment we booked, we had excellent communication with Simbir, who provided us with all the information we needed. He always replied quickly. Unfortunately, we had to postpone the trek by a few weeks due to the war in the Middle East, but this was no problem at all. The trek was rescheduled without any issues. We had Suraj as our guide for the trek and were very happy with him. During the hike, Suraj arranged everything for us and made sure we could fully focus on the trek itself. He was constantly looking after our well-being and ensured we didn’t have to worry about anything. He also knew a lot about the area and the mountains. We can’t recommend him enough and would definitely want him as our guide again if we ever return to Nepal. On top of that, he’s really good at cards and chess. We just showed up to their office and were taken care of right away. Our guide Suraj was AMAZING. I can’t recommend him enough.
