Nowadays, you can book a jeep and head directly to Banthati before trekking about 1.5 hours to 2 hours to reach Ghorepani Village. You can get scenery of more than a dozen mountains from the Annapurna Himalayan range including Mt. Dhaulagiri (world’s 7th tallest) and Annapurna I (world’s 10th tallest).

The popularity of the Mardi Himal Base Camp is on the rise. It is famous among Nepalese trekkers too. It has become the trending trekking destination of Annapurna region. 3, Khopra Danda (Khopra Ridge) (3640 m)

Trekkers can reach Khopra either from Tadapani via Mulde Viewpoint or from Swanta Village. Nepalese trekkers take the route of Swanta village which is not highly recommended to foreigners due to steep uphill and altitude sickness risks.
4, Mohare Danda (3300 m)
An alternative trekking destination to the Ghorepani Poon Hill is the Mohare Danda (3300 m) trek. The place is also an ideal destination to understand about the Magar community living in the Annapurna region. Therefore, it is also called community trek route. The view of mountains and cascading hills from Mohare Danda is unmatched and surreal.
5, Gangapurna Viewpoint (3900 m)
During the Annapurna Circuit Trek in Nepal, trekkers have to do the acclimatization hike to Gangapurna Viewpoint. It is near the Manang Village and located at an altitude of 3900 m. The scenery of Mt. Gangapurna and Gangapurna Lake is so astounding from this viewpoint. Similarly, you can also get an astounding scenery of Manang Valley landscapes.
6, Sarangkot (1600 m)
