Everest Base Camp Trek With Kids

Trekking to Everest arranges Everest base camp family treks with young guides and strong porters. We designed a long day's itinerary after we successfully accompanied kids and their families on many Everest Base Camp treks. In the itinerary, we mention that we suggest 3 to 4 hours of walking per day. A 12-day trek to Everest base camp takes kids 24 days, allowing them to acclimatize throughout the trek.

To be honest, we have a familiar guide and porter who has already done many more treks to Everest base camp with kids and families. In fact, it's important that you include your kids on your journey so that you won't feel suppressed just because you're a parent and have a family. You can still challenge yourself and refresh your mind and soul by taking up a family trek to Nepal.

The journey with kids can be more interesting than you could have imagined. For holidaying with children, Everest base camp treks, Everest view treks, Langtang Valley treks, and Annapurna Poon hill treks are worth considering. In Nepal, traveling with children will be an unforgettable experience.

If this itinerary does not fit your vacation time frame, please let us know. We can customize it according to your time frame.

The Journey to Everest Base camp starts with a short scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and you will gradually walk forward to Phakding, Jorsale, Manjo,Namche bazaar, Phuketanka, Tengboche, Pangboche, Dingboche, Thukla, Labuche, Gorakshep, Kalapattar, Everest base camp, Somare, Phorche, Khumjung and Lukla. Moreover, the route crosses several Sherpa villages where you can see the Sherpa people’s way of life and your kids can know the Sherpa culture and festivals which will be unique and memorable to you and children.
