Tamang Heritage Trek

Nepal is the home to several ethnic people and rich in diverse ethnic cultures. One can know these diverse ethnic cultures through the short and romantic trek of the villages related to different ethnic people. In Nepal, cultural trekking is the best way to know and experience the unique cultures, tradition,s and festivals of different ethnic people. Among the different ethnic people of Nepal Tamang ethnic people are very rich in their culture, tradition and festivals. Tamang ethnic people are very humble and they preserved their old culture and tradition still today. You can know unique Tamang culture, tradition, way of life and festivals through the romantic trekking of typical Tamang villages. 

Most of the Tamang settlements can be found in the Langtang region. Langtang region is the one of the popular trekking destinations of Nepal because of mountainous beauty and unique Tamang culture.During the Tamang heritage trek, you can know Tamang rituals, Tibetan culture, festivals, costumes, and local Syabru and mane dances. Goljung and Gatlang are typical Tamang villages through which the Tamang heritage trek route goes and in these villages, trekkers can see typical Tamang way of life, culture, traditions, festivals, dances, and dresses. 

Moreover beside Tamang culture and festivals during Tamang heritage trek trekkers can enjoy with natural beauty of Langtang region. You can see stunning glimpse of the beautiful mountains such as Langtang Lirung (7246m.), Gang Chhenpo (6388m.), Naya Kangri (5846m.), Yala peak (5700m.) and Dorje Lhakpa (6966m.). You will see different species of birds and flowers, you will encounter with several rare and non rare animals, you will enchanted by the beauty of artistic waterfalls and pristine Rivers. Tamang heritage trek starts from Syabrubesi and goes through the Gatlang, Tatopani, Thuman, Briddim, Lama Hotel, Langtang, Kanji, lama Hotel, Thulosyabru and ends in Dhunche.

If you want to visit other places which are not included in our itinerary will redesign its itinerary as per you request. Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive international airport in Kathmandu and Meet Himalaya View Treks Staff then transport to Thamel, The hotel is centrally located in the Thamel area of Kathmandu which is renowned for its many restaurants, shops, bars, and nightclubs etc which cater for the tourists. 

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley full day sightseeing with professional tour guide.

Day 03: Drive by local bus from Kathamandu to starting point of trekking  Syabru bensi (8 hours 1460 m.) stay overnight at lodge. 

Day 04: Trek to Gatlang (6 hours 2238 m) and stay overnight at lodge. 

Day 05: Trek to Tatopani (6 hours 2607 m.) and stay overnight at lodge. 

Day 06: Trek to thuman (4 hours 2338m.) overnight at lodge.

Day 07: trek to Briddhim ( 2229mtr) overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Trek to Syabru Bensi (5 hours walking) and stay over night at lodge. 

Day 09: Drive by local bus back to Kathmandu (9 hours 200 Km.) 

Day 10: Departure Day from Nepal to your home country. Himalaya View Treks will provide you transport to international trivuwan airport.
