Dhampus Sarangkot family trek near Pokhara is the best for a family vacation, which is short and easy trek designed for children around the Pokhara valley. Sarangkot Dhampus is one of the popular trekking trails of the Annapurna region very close to Pokhara. Those who want short, easy and romantic trekking with their family members including kids this trek is suitable for them.

Dhampus and Sarangkot both places are naturally decorated, unbelievable natural beauty can be seen from these places. During this trek you will walk through the terraced field, lust forest and villages of various ethnic groups of Nepal. During this trekking you will encounter with different species of birds and animals, you will see the beautiful rhododendron forest; you will get the stunning glimpse of the beautiful mountains such as Annapurna, machhapuchhare, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu. Moreover, you will go through the villages of different ethnic people such as Gurung, Magar, Chhetri, and Brahmin where you can experience the diverse culture, customs, and rituals of these ethnic people. Sarankot trek takes three days starting from Phedi and ends near Fewa Lake. From Phedi you will ascend through small forest and continue walk through rice field and reach to Dhampus village.
Dhampus has a typical Gurung village which offer unique Gurung culture and stunning views of beautiful mountains.

From Dhampus you will uphill and downhill with stone steps and reach Naudanda which is another best viewpoint to see the surrounding natural beauty. From Naudanda you will follow the easy of villages and reach Sarangkot. Sarangkot is very beautiful place to see exciting views of beautiful mountains such as Annapurna, Machhapuchhare, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and many more. From Sarangkot you can see the romantic picture of sunrise and sunset. In Sarangkot there is view tower from where along with the views of beautiful mountains mention above Pokhara city with Fewa Lake, Seti River, green hills and World Peace Pagoda are seen.

Sarangkot is also best place for Paragliding so if you interested in this adventurous sport you can take an enjoyment of paragliding there. From Sarangkot you will finally downhill to Pokhara and reach to near the Fewa Lake. If children want long trek in other popular areas of the Annapurna region we will redesign its itinerary as per your kid’s request. Poon hill trek May 2023 From the very beginning of our communication Mr. Simbir was helpful and responsive. He managed to resolve some unexpected issues after our arrival in Nepal and organized a great private trip for us. The choice of lodges always allowed us to have the best views. Our guide Sobit Tamang and porter Jovan Gurung were extremely friendly. Although both guys are still young, they are very strong, attentive and client-oriented. Best Porter/Guide EVER! My Guide/Porter was the best!This company provided me with a memorable and successful trekking experience to Annapurna Base Camp all thanks to my Guide/Porter Rahul Tamang. He was funny and communicative and tried to get the best tea lodges for me. He was very understanding and walked at my pace which is slow. He never pushed me and was always patient which I believe was key to my successful accent. Friendships were made on the trip. Every leg of the trek was a different beauty. Best Manaslu Trek Ever! Great company! Responsive, best price, and I finally found a guide who can keep up with me! Simbir was excellent and understanding with the arranging even though my airline lost my bag. I said I wanted to go fast and he set me up with super-powered guide Sobit and we had the most outstanding trek around Manaslu. I usually don’t prefer going with a guide but it’s mandatory nowadays, so if you are like me and want to travel on your own in Nepal, this is the best way to do it. Everest Base Camp from Shivalaya Big thanks to Simbir for organising our big walk at short notice. eCommunication excellent before we arrived in Nepal. Despite long delays at the airport he and the team were there to meet us and brief at hotel. The plan was long walk in to EBC, then Kala Pattar and Island Peak. Simbir arranged for us to be guided by DB, a very experienced and competent registered guide and for portering by Man. Both excellent. The walk, scenery and company on the way were fantastic.I contracted a respiratory infection and subsequently altitude sickness. Simbir and DB spotted the difficulties quickly and made complex arrangements for evacuation and hospitalisation. Thank you. They also ensured my companion was accommodated comfortably in Kathmandu. Mr. Simbir from Himalaya View provided us (me 63 and my wife 61) a porter cum guide from Lukla on the EBC trek in March and April 2022. We successfully completed the trek, everything went without the slightest problems, the negotiations were simple and the agency absolutely reliable . Our porter cum guide Yuba Raj carried our 15 kg backpack, reliably guided us through the entire two-week trek and solved all our worries with accommodation, meals and itinerary. Great company who offers the possibility of hiring a porter guide, who is a figure between a porter and a guide, a very good option if you are traveling on a budget! Our guide (Iman) was excellent, very professional, flexible with the route and managed everyday to get accommodation even if we were in high season. Communication before the trek was also good via whats app, they did all permits for us and we picked them up at our arrival. We would highly recommend this company!
